A 101- year proud and successful journey of women’s education and empowerment
Smt. R. D. Gardi Bhavnagar Stree Kelvani Mandal , Bhavnagar is a very old organization of Bhavnagar working in the field of women’s education , women’s empowerment and non-formal education. The organization has various institutions running courses from KG to PG and till date the organization has been a leading part in providing education to countless students and making them self-reliant.
The institution was established on 23. 07.1925 and the industrialists of Bhavnagar, social leaders and mainly the royal family of Bhavnagar have made significant contributions to its establishment and development. On 23.07.2026, the institution completed 101 years and its foundation day was celebrated at the Zaverchand Meghani Auditorium. On this occasion, students from various departments of the institution presented their class skills. As the chief guest of the program, Dr. Ganeshbhai Baraiya, Medical Officer of Sir T. Hospital, was present and inspired the students.
The program was attended by a large number of trustees , members, invited guests, department heads, staff families, and students.
